K9 Axel has been awarded Spike’s K9 2025 K9 of the year, Woodburn Police Department Achievement Medal, Oregon Police Officer Association Distinguished Service Award, and the Fire in the gut award. K9 Axel received his Ballistic Vest in 2024 from Donations.
